Once Upon A Time...

"Teacher  what do I have to do to get rid of all my problems in my life so that I might be happy?"... To which, the old wise Teacher smiled at the young man and said to him, "Come with me young man and I will show you how to never have any problems again in this world"... Well the young man was delighted to hear the Teachers reply to him... And so the two walked together until the Teacher stopped at a rather odd place that not many people liked to visit... And before the young man could speak... The wise Teacher (with a twinkle in his eye and love in his heart) said to him the following words.. Words that to this day the young man has never ever forgot...Words that helped the young man live a happier more fulfilled life...

And so what were these words and where was the place these words were spoken?... Well the place these words were spoken was the cemetery... And the words were simply this... "The only people that I have ever known to have no problems are in the cemetery" - Norman Vincent Peale. And likewise, in this life, many times we can also be like the young man who wished he had no problems... But would this be a good thing?.. Maybe?.. Maybe not?.. For there is a time and season for everything under the Sun... But I suggest that life will go more smoothly and peacefully for us... If instead of seeing problems as a bad thing... We learn to see problems as a good thing... For the glass of milk really can be half full instead of half empty...

For many times in LIFE the problems we face are merely stepping stones to higher places... If  we have the eyes to see and the ears to hear... How?... Well problems call on our problem solving abilities that often times awaken abilities and talents in us that would otherwise lay dormant if not presented with a problem to solve... And the more problems we solve, the greater confidence and character we develop in ourselves... And the stronger we become... For just as any one working out in a gym becomes stronger through repetition and through pushing their limits in the weights they lift... So also we become better and stronger people as we learn to solve problems regularly... And the Good News is there is a Higher Power who gives Strength and Answers to the weak and problem ridden who know their need of help... Yes.. "Great Opportunities often come disguised as great problems."

What are the problems you face today?.. And how can you find answers to your problems so that they become stepping stones to higher places for you?
